One Enchanted Evening

Giant dewdrops gaze up and curl
Biding their time, slowly unfurl

Unwrapping gently, newly born
Fragile, they last from dusk to dawn

White as fresh snow lit by a beam
In the dark night they glow and gleam

And smiling with a tender ease
Hand out their fragrance to the breeze

Time stands still, beholds the sight
Enchantment swells and fills the night
